2. General information on data processing

We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide a
functioning website as well as our content and services. Unless stated
otherwise, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR (performance of a
contract or legitimate interest in a properly functioning website).

3. Provision of the website and server log files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects
technical data: IP address, date and time of access, page accessed, amount
of data transferred, browser type and operating system. This data is used
exclusively for the technical provision, stability and security of the
website. It is not combined with other data.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure,
trouble-free operation).

Hosting: The website is operated by
Alfahosting GmbH, Ankerstraße 3a, 06108 Halle (Saale), Germany.
The servers are located in Germany. A data processing agreement under Art.
28 GDPR will be concluded with the provider.

4. No external fonts, no analytics, no advertising services

This website does not load any content from third-party servers.
Specifically:

• The fonts used (Questrial, Inter, Noto Serif) are served from our own

transmitted to Google.
• No analytics or tracking services are used — no Google Analytics, no
advertising networks, no social media pixels.
• No maps and no videos are embedded.
• No Google reCAPTCHA is used.

6. Contacting us

Contact form. If you write to us via the form, we process the data you
provide (name, email address, message) to handle your enquiry. The legal
basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual enquiry) or (f) (legitimate
interest in responding). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer
required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Email and phone. If you contact us by email or phone, we process your
details in order to handle your enquiry.

WhatsApp. On some pages you will find a button that lets you write to us
via WhatsApp. No data is transmitted unless you click the button.
Clicking it opens WhatsApp, and your communication then runs through
WhatsApp Ireland Limited, whose privacy policy applies. If you would prefer
not to use this, please use email or phone instead.

7. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send it.
Subscription is handled via a double opt-in procedure: after signing up,
you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after confirming are you
added to the mailing list. Sign-up and confirmation are logged.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can
unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time; every message includes an
unsubscribe link.

8. Links to Amazon

The book pages contain links to Amazon. These are plain links, without an
affiliate-program identifier and without tracking
. Only once you click
such a link do you reach Amazon, where Amazon’s own privacy policy applies.

9. Your rights

about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17),

to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may revoke any consent you have
given at any time, with effect for the future.

To do so, please contact us at the address given above.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection
supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Bayerisches Landesamt
